FLIPPING OUT OVER FLIP PHONES

My 2nd article on Senior Living:

The era of “Flip Phones” evokes hysterical laughter from certain age groups, horror to some and great comfort to many, especially over the age of 70.  So, what is it that this cell phone device – the flipper – brings to the life of portable phone users? ...

Senior Social Media, Nothing to Fear, But Fear Itself

My 1st article on Senior Living:

Franklin D. Roosevelt stated that there was nothing to fear but fear itself.  So goes the idea of Seniors being touted with the idea that using Social Media is something they should be afraid of.  Hockey Puck!  Not true.

Social media is nothing more than an avenue to communicate more widely with a broader audience.  The key here is that YOU, Senior or otherwise, determine what it is that you want to share, how much, to whom, and where - the platform.....

Happy New Year!

Wow, it’s 2019 today.  Is it just me or did 2018 just fly by like blinking a few times?!!

We’re celebrating a year of beginnings and change.

How does the photo above speak to you?
I love how Seniors are shown using various devices and items to "pass the time" together.

What is your passion for the New Year?
My passion is promoting my Senior Tutoring and Senior Concierge business to a much-deserved audience.

Today, I was down at the Senior Center and was pleasantly surprised to see one of my Senior Students.  We were so excited to catch up on life happenings since we last had a tutoring session (about a year).  Making new friends with some of the Seniors has been an added blessing to my role as Senior Tech Support/Tutor.  So many seniors are very appreciative to have a free tech support session (1/2 hr.) through the Kay Cisneros Senior Center.  Just making an appointment reaps many rewards!

Blessings to each one of you.  May your new 2019 year be filled with prosperity, peace and much happiness.
